eHana develops and delivers web-based medical records systems for mental health and human services. The key word here is "delivers": we're a fast-growing company and we're looking for a great IT Administrator / DBA to help us scale our back-end infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Tons of experience with colocated Windows Server farms
• Deep knowledge of SQL Server and related technologies including replication and performance tuning
• Have in the past been personally responsible for maximizing uptime and minimizing latency
• An understanding of security best practices
• A skeptical streak a mile wide, especially with regards to your own work - you test, re-test, and try to break every configuration

We're looking for someone with lots of experience who values a great work environment with lots of flexibility and can handle a high degree of personal responsibility and accountability. Your day-to-day work will vary: you might review our backup strategies, order some new servers, tweak a SQL Server replication plan, configure a development server, profile web app performance bottlenecks, or just mess around with our VPNs and asterisk VOIP.

eHana LLC is growing like crazy (in Honolulu and Boston) and we need Junior Web Application Developers to expand our ability to deliver great software. You'll work closely with our senior developers to hone your programming skills while writing and deploying real, live code. Your work might include:

• Scaling an application for use by thousands of full-time end users
• Conducting business analysis and project planning with clients
• Building new internal development, testing, and deploy tools

We use Microsoft’s .NET development stack (Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server) so solid experience with that (especially SQL) is a big plus.

You should be an excellent coder with experience writing software for yourself, open-source projects, school, internships, etc. You also need to be a great communicator in written and spoken English and be able to work full-time, on-site at one of our offices.
